Erwin Pohan, S.Pd., M.Pd.
Profil Singkat
Erwin Pohan is a lecturer of English Education at the English Education Study Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji, Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands Province – Indonesia (2008 – now). He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in English Education from Bung Hatta University of Padang, West Sumatera, in 1998, while his Master’s Degree in English Education from State University of Padang, West Sumatera in 2008. Before joining the lecturer at the current institution, he worked as an English lecturer at the Foreign Language Academy of Putra Batam (2002–2005), Midwife Academy of the Baiturrahmah University of Padang (2006-2007), Teacher Training and Education Faculty of the Riau Island University of Batam (2007-2008). He has researched English education, English teaching, and learning strategies and has written several books during his work. Some articles have been published in national and international journals and online websites. His English teaching sector-related career has inspired him to focus on a teaching/learning approach to English education. His email is erwinphn@umrah.ac.id
